I spare you the self-obsessed prays, just one: We have a new release in the catalogue and it already managed to hit Nr. 4 at Mathias Schaffhaeuser’s DJ-charts from february. Yay!

Musician, Super-Producer, DJ, Sound-Designer, Tutor and Technological Writer. Christian Kalinowski aka NUMINOS is a man with a phalanx of talents. Being an overly self-critical and detail-obsessed producer with a pumping heart for the british beats and the mighty dub-craft he rarely released tracks in the past years. He has come a long way from his early success in the german Hip Hop band Indeed (together with DJ Lifeforce & Uh-Young Kim) and that’s probably where the funk or his musicality derives from. This and the fact that he is also a learned piano-player. Of course there where prolific flirts with the UK-based PAGODA Records crew and skillful remixes for Bob Humid’s SERVE & DESTROY and earlier BORED BEYOND BELIEF Imprints, dozens of highly inspired DUB-Liveacts in Cologne’s underground (Electro Bunker, Why Beep?, Encounters Of The Ambient Kind, Mos Eisley, Silberschwein, Propellor Knights) and countless studio-jobs for other clients and artists, but we had to wait an eon for his first real debut-EP.
“Eyjafjallajökull” (named after that moody icelandish volcano that hold europe’s airplanes in its grip for months) is a musical description that breaths the spirit of humbleness before nature’s power and magnificence while it might very well throw you inside boiling lava in the next moment. To complete that goal a handful of renown remixers of germany’s electronic breakbeat underground have tuned into their personal view on that topic. Desmond Denker (Basspräsidium), Noize Creator (Suburban Trash), Echology (Uncanny Valley) and Bob Humid (Serve & Destroy Rec.) have all tweaked their machines to the extremes. This is Dubstep in its most playful variance and versatility. Get it on iTunes, Beatport, Zero”, DJ-Download and all the other platforms…

the new dates for our breakstep-allnighter are here: everyone near cologne should write down 2 numbers: we are bringing you dubstep, filthstep, grime, breakstep and all other kinds of uk-influenced breakbeat-madness on the 3rd of march and the 8th of april 2012. this time the venue will showcase its new computer-controlled light-system and there will be a couple of other surprises… get closer to the pinktank!
We don’t know for sure if the Earth is crumbling in 2012. But we do know that we won’t stop making sacrifices at the shrines of all known gods who protect subsonic bass with a little help of our 10000 Watt NEXO-PA. In order to support this attitude we are announcing the offical Record Release Party of ”Eyjafjallajökull + The Seismic Logfiles E.P.” at our well-established monthly EHRENFELD CALLING (@Live Music Hall).
Cologne-rooted super-producer NUMINOS, who is no unknown to the music specialist in Germany and also happens to be the technological writer for the german GROOVE-mag, is one of the few german Electronic artists who master the art of performing and producing electronic Dub in its purest form. On the 25th of January he will present music from his first Dubstep-Production on SERVE & DESTROY, Bob Humid’s imprint. The E.P. will be phalanxed by some very tight remixes of electronic heroes like Noize Creator, Echology, Desmond Denker and Bob Humid. Please come before 01:00 am if you want to wittness the live-performance, cause we do have a plan…
